Accra, Ghana – The Institute for Peace and Progress (IPP) is set to host the inaugural Ghana Muslim Entrepreneurs & Business Summit (GMEBS) on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the National Mosque Complex in Kanda, Accra. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and aims to provide a transformative platform for Muslim business leaders and entrepreneurs across Ghana.
Organized under the theme “Engagement for Purpose: To Empower Muslim Leaders in Business and Entrepreneurs,” GMEBS 2025 is designed to bring together entrepreneurs and business actors from diverse sectors to collaborate, network, and advance socially-driven business initiatives that will contribute to national and continental development.
The summit features an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, including:
- Hon. Dr. Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, Minister for Labour, Jobs, and Employment
- Dr. Zakari Mumuni, First Deputy Governor, Bank of Ghana
- Dr. Abiba Zakariah, Commissioner of Insurance

The summit will be chaired by His Eminence Maulvi Muhammed Bin Salih, Ameer and Missionary in-charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana.

A representative of the Institute for Peace and Progress explained the importance of the event:
