Adrobaa R/C Basic School has been crowned winners of the 2025 Milo U-13 Champions League after delivering an outstanding 2-0 victory over Franko International School in a thrilling final. The Ahafo Region champions announced their intent early in the contest, striking in the third minute before sealing the win with a composed finish in the 56th minute. Despite a spirited performance from Franko International, the relentless energy and discipline of Adrobaa R/C proved decisive.
The 2025 edition of the prestigious youth tournament, organised by Nestlé Ghana Ltd in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service and endorsed by the Ghana Football Association, featured over 20,000 young footballers from across the country. The competition continues to play a crucial role in identifying and nurturing football talent at the grassroots level.
Deborah Kwabla, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager for Nestlé Ghana, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to developing young athletes and contributing to the future of Ghanaian football. Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah also commended Nestlé Ghana for sustaining an initiative that has produced national talents including Fatao Ishaku and Kevin Nkrumah.
The top three schools were rewarded with cash prizes, medals, Nestlé products, and essential football equipment to support their development programmes.
