IMPLEMENTERS, a leading not-for-profit project management organisation, has announced the 2026 edition of the Climate Forward Summit 2026 aimed at driving collective climate action and sustainable development in Ghana.
The summit is scheduled to take place on July 9, 2026, at the GIMPA Executive Conference Centre under the theme: “The Circular Transition: Integrating Waste-to-Wealth Pathways and Clean Energy for Ghana’s Green Industrialisation.”
According to the organisers, the event will bring together stakeholders from government, the private sector, civil society, development organisations, and the general public to explore practical and long-term solutions to Ghana’s growing climate and waste management challenges.
The summit comes at a time when Ghana continues to face increasing concerns over plastic, textile, and electronic waste, which are impacting the environment, public health, and the economy.
Organisers say the event seeks to promote collaboration among stakeholders and encourage innovative approaches grounded in circular economy principles to transform waste into economic opportunities.
The summit will feature high-level panel discussions, keynote sessions, interactive roundtable engagements, exhibitions on recycling and sustainable production innovations, as well as networking opportunities designed to strengthen partnerships within Ghana’s climate sector.
IMPLEMENTERS is inviting government agencies, private sector institutions, development partners, civil society organisations, and individuals interested in climate action to partner with, exhibit at, and participate in the summit.
