Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that severe pain and mobility difficulties left her celebrating her 25th birthday in a wheelchair.
The actress shared the experience in an Instagram post on Saturday, saying her condition had affected her ability to move around freely in recent months.
According to Daniels, what began as a minor health issue worsened after she attended a Children’s Day carnival, leaving her unable to walk on some days.
She said she had undergone repeated medical tests while struggling with persistent pain.
“I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor but eventually led to this,” she said.
Describing the impact of the condition, Daniels added: “It’s been one test after another that I started calling myself a lab rat. The pain became too excruciating; sometimes I am walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move.”
The actress did not disclose a specific diagnosis or provide further details about the treatment she has received.
Her revelation comes months after she became less active on social media. During that period, a video circulated online allegedly showing her in a dispute with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, amid public allegations of domestic violence.
However, Daniels’ latest post focused on her health struggles, the pain she has endured and the effect of her condition on her mobility.
