He expressed particular concern about the tax exemptions, asserting that these financial giveaways were unwarranted given the current economic climate. “Mr. Speaker, our concern remains with the tax assumptions. We strongly believe that these giveaways should be curtailed. At a time when the country is bleeding financially, Ghana should not be distributing such tax exemptions to crony businesses,” Dr. Forson added.
