Accra’s Marriott Hotel was filled with glamour, celebration, and recognition on Friday, August 22, 2025, as leading entrepreneurs and institutions across Ghana were honoured at the prestigious Global Trade and Business Awards. The ceremony, which highlighted innovation, excellence, and resilience in the business community, attracted dignitaries, industry leaders, and stakeholders from diverse sectors.
The event was graced by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, as well as renowned academic and entrepreneur Professor Goski Alabi, whose presence underscored the importance of the awards in strengthening Ghana’s business landscape. The awards celebrated companies and individuals whose efforts have contributed to national development through innovation, social impact, and sustainable business practices.
In his special remarks, the Director of Diasporan Affairs at the Presidency, Mr. Kofi Okyere Darko, commended the organisers for their vision in creating a platform to acknowledge and reward outstanding enterprises. He further urged Ghanaians to support efforts to attract investment from the diaspora, noting that creating a conducive atmosphere for business would encourage diasporans to play a greater role in Ghana’s economic growth.

- Mr. Scott Mawufemor Kwasi Tsevia, CEO of Diamond Eagles Company Limited, was crowned Best Solar Energy Company of the Year for his company’s role in driving renewable energy solutions.
- Madam Rosemary Gyau, founder of Rees Consult, earned the title of Best Educational Consult of the Year, reflecting her contributions to academic guidance and student development.
- Madam Belinda Doris Arkorful of Linda Dor Restaurant walked away with the award for Best Hospitality Company of the Year, a testament to her brand’s consistency in providing world-class services.
- Mr. James Kwasi Ofori, representing Go Compliance Solutions, was named Best Consulting Service Company of the Year for his firm’s dedication to professional excellence.
- Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Ahmed, President of the Afro-Arab Group, received the honour of Best Real Estate Company of the Year, cementing his organisation’s reputation as a leader in Ghana’s housing and property sector.

- Mr. Philip Ocansey of OKP Limited received recognition as Best Importation Company of the Year, reflecting his company’s efficiency in the trade sector.
