Maggi, one of Ghana’s most trusted food brands, in partnership with renowned food operator Aduane Pa, transformed Ghud Park in Accra into a vibrant hub of food, culture and music as it hosted the Maggi Fufu Party in the Park on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
The event, which began in the afternoon and stretched into the evening, brought together food lovers, creatives, brand partners and guests to celebrate Ghanaian cuisine, heritage and the deep emotional connection consumers have with the Maggi brand.
The celebration formed part of Maggi’s broader consumer engagement strategy, aimed at appreciating loyal customers while promoting local dishes that have remained central to Ghanaian homes over generations.
Speaking to the media, Deborah Kwabla, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager for Nestlé Ghana, said the inspiration behind the Fufu Party was primarily to express gratitude to consumers who have consistently supported the Maggi brand.
“The inspiration for the Fufu Party that we are all experiencing this afternoon to this evening is basically to say thank you to our cherished consumers. Maggi has a close association with a lot of foods, especially Ghanaian cuisines, and today we are here with our partner Aduane Pa to bring the Maggi experience to life,” she said.
She noted that the vibrant atmosphere at the venue reflected the strong bond between Maggi and its consumers.
“This is Nestlé Ghana’s way of saying thank you to consumers of Maggi, and you can truly feel the vibe in the environment,” she added.
According to her, the collaboration with Aduane Pa was strategic and timely, as both brands shared a common interest in celebrating Ghanaian food culture.
“We collaborate with partners who are doing something aligned with what we also want to achieve. Aduane Pa happened to be organising something around the same time, and we thought this was the perfect opportunity to collaborate,” she explained.
Guests at the event were treated to a rich variety of Ghanaian dishes including fufu, waakye, fried rice, TZ among other foods, all prepared to showcase the flavour-enhancing quality of Maggi seasoning.
Earlier, Magherita Amon, Brands Manager for Maggi, described the brand as a household name that has remained relevant across generations.
“Maggi is a brand we all know from generation to generation. Maggi and food are like five and six; anywhere there is food, there is Maggi,” she said.
She further explained that Maggi’s engagement goes beyond consumers to include food operators who play a key role in shaping everyday food experiences.
“At Maggi, we don’t only work with consumers; we also work closely with food operators. Aduane Pa is one food operator that everyone goes to for their food, so partnering with them strengthens the bond we share within the food community,” she noted.
On his part, Prince Dweteh, Manager of Aduane Pa, said the core objective of the Food Party in the Park was to promote Ghanaian food, culture and music, while celebrating the long-standing role Maggi has played in enhancing local meals.
“We have been using Maggi to cook our food for years and the taste has been excellent. When you use Maggi, it makes your food very delicious, so we are sticking to Maggi,” he said.
He disclosed that while the Food Party in the Park is now in its third edition, this marked the first collaboration with Maggi, describing the partnership as impactful and successful.
The celebration was further energised by thrilling live performances from Tulenkey, Kofi Jamar, Lord Paper, Keche, and other artistes, who kept patrons entertained throughout the day.
The Maggi Fufu Party in the Park successfully blended culinary excellence, cultural pride and musical entertainment, reinforcing Maggi’s commitment to promoting Ghanaian cuisine while strengthening its relationship with consumers and local food operators.
