Parents always want the best for their little ones, and nutrition plays a vital role in ensuring their healthy growth. In line with this commitment, Nestlé Ghana has introduced a new CERELAC variant with no refined sugar, giving mothers and caregivers an additional nutritious option when choosing meals for their children.
The newly launched variant provides the same trusted nutrition, quality, and safety that parents have come to associate with the CERELAC brand. It is now available on shelves across the country, complementing the current CERELAC products manufactured in Ghana. These products will also be gradually exported to other Central and West African markets, expanding access to quality infant nutrition.
Expressing her excitement about the introduction of the new variant, Salomé Azevedo, Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana, highlighted the importance of choice in childcare nutrition. “Every baby is special and unique in their own way. As a mother myself, I understand how important it is to have options when it comes to making nutritional decisions for our little ones. This initiative offers mothers and caregivers more choices for their children,” she said.
Azevedo added that by offering the No Refined Sugar option, Nestlé is empowering parents to make informed decisions that align with their families’ nutritional needs and preferences. The new variant is available in stores nationwide and comes at the same price range as existing CERELAC products.
