A delegation from the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations [GFD] interacted with the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, on the sidelines of the National Labour Conference in Ho.
The conference, organized by the National Tripartite Committee from 26th to 28th June 2026 at the Volta Serene Hotel under the theme _“Strengthening Industrial Harmony as a Catalyst for Accelerated Economic Growth and Development,”_ brought together key labour, government, and civil society actors.
The interaction provided an opportunity for the GFD delegation to introduce themselves to the Regional Minister and strengthen ties with regional leadership.
Hon. James Gunu welcomed the GFD team and expressed his openness to working with the Federation to advance disability inclusion in the Volta Region. The gesture reflects a sense of humility and his readiness to embrace inclusion.
The engagement reflects GFD’s continued efforts to build partnerships that promote inclusion at both national and regional levels.
