Afro-Arab Drive Green has taken another major step forward with the arrival of an additional 50 electric vehicles (EVs), bringing the fleet to 100 vehicles out of the 1,000 EVs planned under its youth empowerment initiative.
The Changan E-Star was officially launched last Friday, marking another milestone in the initiative to create opportunities for young people to own vehicles, become drivers and build sustainable businesses.
Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu remains committed to his promise of creating more than 2,000 jobs for the youth through the initiative.
As Alhaji Salamu puts it, “Rome was not built in a day.” While the programme is progressing gradually, he says the focus remains firmly on achieving the 1,000-EV target.
Another fleet is expected to arrive soon as Afro-Arab Drive Green continues to expand the initiative and create more opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
For Afro-Arab Drive Green, the biggest reward is seeing young people become vehicle owners, drivers and business owners through the programme.
100 down. 900 to go. The journey continues! 🇬🇭⚡🌱
