Alan Kyerematen Leads Mega Victory Walk in Accra to Ignite Support for Afrafranto Alliance

On Saturday, November 2, 2024, the streets of Accra will come alive as Alan Kyerematen, presidential candidate of the Afrafranto Alliance, leads a highly anticipated Mega Victory Walk in support of the Afrafranto Movement.

Starting at 6 AM from the former PTC Building, SO Fuel Station, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, this event is expected to attract hundreds of supporters, allies, and sympathizers of the Movement for Change, generating energy and enthusiasm across the capital.

The Mega Victory Walk aims to not only rally support but also to showcase the unity and strength of the Afrafranto Movement. Supporters are encouraged to wear their yellow Afrafranto T-shirts, wave flags, and chant the vibrant slogan “Ase3 Ho” as they march through some of Accra’s most energetic neighborhoods. This walk will be an opportunity for the Afrafranto Alliance to amplify its message of a new era for Ghana and to demonstrate the power of a united movement dedicated to national transformation.

Alan Kyerematen, joined by his running mate Kwame Owusu Danso (KOD) and a cadre of regional leaders, will use this event to highlight the Alliance’s core goals: citizen empowerment, economic transformation, and a new direction that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of every Ghanaian. The Great Transformational Plan (GTP), a central policy of the Alliance, has been the foundation of Kyerematen’s campaign, advocating for a government that elevates all Ghanaians and brings about meaningful and lasting change.

Greater Accra is preparing to build on the success of the recent Mega Victory Walk in the Ashanti Region, which drew a record-breaking crowd and set a high standard for the upcoming event. Supporters from all walks of life—youth, women, traditional leaders, and business owners—rallied around Kyerematen and Danso, invigorated by their vision for a new Ghana. The Accra walk is expected to channel that same energy, strengthening the momentum as the election approaches.

The Afrafranto Alliance is challenging Ghana’s traditional winner-takes-all political system, calling instead for a government of national unity. This model, integral to the GTP, proposes a government that prioritizes inclusivity and aims to bring together the brightest minds across political and professional lines. Rather than fostering competition, this approach encourages collaboration to build a sustainable and prosperous Ghana.

Excitement has been steadily building among supporters across Greater Accra. Many are looking forward to walking alongside Kyerematen and Danso, seeing this as a chance to be part of a pivotal moment in Ghana’s history. “This walk isn’t just about showing support; it’s a statement that change is here,” said Chris Barnes, a dedicated Afrafranto member. The “Item 13: Obiaa bedidi wo ase3 ho” slogan is expected to echo throughout the event, reinforcing the Alliance’s message of inclusivity and progress for all Ghanaians.

This Victory Walk is more than a campaign event; it is a celebration of the Afrafranto Alliance’s commitment to reshaping Ghana’s future. For many, the 2024 election signifies an opportunity to move beyond the conventional two-party system and embrace a new direction. With widespread anticipation and a clear message of empowerment, the Mega Victory Walk in Accra promises to be both a powerful demonstration of support and a call to action for real change in Ghana.
