Alfred Obeng-Boateng, the former Member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai has rallied the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a social media post, Alfred Obeng-Boateng noted that outlined the impact of elections on candidates and party members nd urged the NPP to come together and plan for election 2028.
“During electioniery campaign, most people think it is the duty of only those contesting, thus Parliamentary and Presidential Candidates and therefore leave the work on these people and the party executives alone.
“However, when we win the election the benefits go beyond them and when we lose the election those who suffer are many to the extent that civil servants and public servants who have been working for many years end up losing their jobs unfairly. Apart from losing their jobs some go through intimidation and victimisation at their workplaces because they are perceived to be sympathisers of NPP.
“As we prepare for election 2028 from opposition, let us all come together as members or sympathisers of NPP particularly Tescon Members and campaign for power.
