Accra, Ghana — Tuesday, December 2, 2025 — emPLE Group Limited (“emPLE Group”), a subsidiary of EverCorp Industries Limited, has officially announced the launch of emPLE Ghana following the group’s successful acquisition of the former Metropolitan Ghana businesses in September 2025. This milestone marks the group’s formal entry into the Ghanaian insurance market.
With this transition, Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana LTD, Metropolitan Health Insurance Ghana LTD, and Metropolitan Pensions Trust Ghana LTD will now operate fully under the emPLE Ghana brand.
For customers, all existing protections and services remain unchanged. All active and upcoming policies stay valid, and benefits, terms, and customer contact channels continue as before. emPLE Ghana will operate under the full supervision of the National Insurance Commission (NIC) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
