Nestlé Ghana Ltd. has honored outstanding distributors in its supply chain who have played a pivotal role in the company’s growth. A total of 49 awards, including eight trucks, were presented at a colorful ceremony held at the plush Volta Serene Hotel in Ho, the Volta Regional capital.
Ben Betty Company Ltd., based in Tarkwa in the Western Region, emerged as the Best Distributor of the Year. They were followed by Dan Maud Company Ltd., Kofi Gyimah Enterprises Ltd., Edcey Company Ltd., and Awenyami Enterprise, who placed second, third, fourth, and fifth respectively.
In addition, Ofram Company Ltd., Tesslink Company Ltd., and Ophiasare Company Ltd. received National Awards for Best Redistribution in recognition of their commitment and excellence in supporting Nestlé’s market operations.
Speaking on behalf of Ben Betty Company Ltd., Dorcas Otoo, ESQ, described the recognition as an amazing moment, dedicating the award to the company’s hardworking van salesmen. She expressed optimism for the future, stating that “the energy to achieve a successful 2025 and a great start in 2026 is assured.”
The Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana Ltd., Salomé Azevedo, emphasized that the night was dedicated to celebrating deep partnerships, loyalty, and dedication to the Nestlé brand. “Our brands represent more than just products. They carry our commitment to excellence and the best quality nutrition to nurture the changemakers, the champions, the food lovers, the hustlers, and the dedicated mothers and fathers and their children,” she said.
She described Nestlé’s customers as “business partners in innovation and champions in the marketplace,” adding that the company remains focused on driving sustainable growth and shared value across communities. “We continue to invest in technologies to be more efficient and reduce cost and waste across the value chain; in our people through targeted training to unlock potential and boost performance; and in our brands and communities. My personal favorite is investment in our planet — an investment done with love and commitment every day,” she added.
Jacob Odai, the National Sales Manager of Nestlé Ghana Ltd., also expressed deep appreciation for the invaluable contributions of distributors to the company’s success. He noted that this year’s awards, featuring 49 honors including eight trucks, symbolize Nestlé’s gratitude and enduring partnership with its distributors.
The Nestlé Ghana Ltd. Distributor Awards are organized annually to reward deserving distributors for their continued support and commitment to the company’s growth and vision.
