Samsung Unveils the Galaxy S25 Series with Revolutionary AI Features

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has officially announced the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25, introducing a groundbreaking evolution in smartphone technology. These devices set a new benchmark as true AI companions, offering the most natural and context-aware mobile experiences ever developed by the company.

The Galaxy S25 series is Samsung’s first step toward reimagining the way users interact with their phones and the world around them. Central to this innovation is the integration of multimodal AI agents, which mark the beginning of a transformative vision to enhance user interaction through advanced artificial intelligence.

Powered by a customized Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy chipset, the Galaxy S25 series delivers unparalleled on-device processing capabilities. This chipset enables exceptional Galaxy AI performance and superior control of the devices’ cutting-edge ProVisual Engine, ensuring an unparalleled camera experience.

“The greatest innovations are a reflection of their users, which is why we evolved Galaxy AI to help everyone interact with their devices more naturally and effortlessly while trusting that their privacy is secured,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. “The Galaxy S25 series opens the door to an AI-integrated OS that fundamentally shifts how we use technology and how we live our lives.”

The Galaxy S25 series introduces One UI 7, a new software experience designed to provide users with effortless and intuitive interactions. This enhanced interface acts as a true AI companion, understanding user preferences and needs in real time while ensuring privacy remains at the forefront. One UI 7 represents the start of a collaboration between Samsung and Google to envision an Android ecosystem built around AI, inviting developers and partners from across the globe to contribute to this innovative vision.

With its multimodal capabilities, the Galaxy S25 series allows users to interact with their devices through text, speech, images, and video. A notable upgrade to Google’s Circle to Search enhances on-screen search capabilities, enabling quick and contextual recognition of phone numbers, emails, and URLs. With just a tap, users can call, email, or visit a website seamlessly, enhancing convenience and productivity.

The Galaxy S25 series also introduces Gemini, a powerful AI agent that provides seamless interactions across Samsung apps, Google apps, and even third-party platforms such as Spotify. By simply pressing and holding the side button, users can activate Gemini for intuitive and personalized assistance. Features such as Call Transcript and Writing Assist allow users to stay organized, summarize content, or format notes without switching between applications, ensuring efficiency in communication and productivity.

In addition to intuitive interactions, the Galaxy S25 series prioritizes hyper-personalization with a focus on privacy. The Personal Data Engine enables personalized AI features by analyzing user data securely on the device. This ensures tailored experiences, such as natural language photo searches in the Gallery or proactive guidance through Now Brief, which provides daily suggestions accessible via the Now Bar on the lock screen.

Underpinning these innovations is the powerful Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the most advanced processor ever featured in the Galaxy S series. With a performance boost of 40% in NPU, 37% in CPU, and 30% in GPU compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 series can now process complex AI tasks directly on the device, including advanced functions like Generative Edit, which were previously cloud-based.

The Galaxy S25 series also sets new standards for mobile photography with its ProVisual Engine and ultra-high-resolution sensors. The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a new 50MP ultrawide camera sensor, upgraded from the previous 12MP, delivering unparalleled clarity and vibrancy in every shot. This ensures users can capture stunningly detailed images, whether close up or at a distance.

Samsung continues to prioritize sustainability in its device designs, and the Galaxy S25 series is no exception. Grounded in the company’s “Essential Design” philosophy, the Galaxy S25 Ultra combines simplicity, impact, and emotion in its slimmest, lightest, and most durable form yet. The device features a rounded edge for a comfortable grip while maintaining its sleek aesthetic identity.

To enhance the user experience further, Samsung is offering six months of Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud storage at no additional cost with every Galaxy S25 device. Gemini Advanced includes cutting-edge AI models and exclusive access to innovative features such as Gems, which serve as personalized AI experts for any topic, and Deep Research, a personal AI research assistant designed to meet individual needs.

The Galaxy S25 series is set to launch in mid-February, with pre-orders available now. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will be offered in Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Black, Titanium Whitesilver, and Titanium Gray. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will come in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icy Blue, and Mint, ensuring a variety of options to suit every user’s style.

The Galaxy S25 series represents a bold leap into the future of mobile technology, blending cutting-edge AI, powerful performance, and sleek design. With these devices, Samsung continues to lead the industry in delivering innovative solutions that enhance the way people live, work, and connect.
