G&T Prestige Ltd. has announced Friday, October 30, 2026, as the official launch date for Sankofa Job, a national digital employment platform aimed at connecting job seekers with employers and businesses across Ghana.
The platform will be launched across its digital platforms and social media channels, offering job seekers free access to create profiles, apply for available positions and connect with potential employers.
The initiative is expected to help bridge the gap between job seekers and employers by encouraging businesses to advertise genuine vacancies, offer fair compensation and recruit Ghanaian talent.
Ahead of the October 30 launch, G&T Prestige Ltd. is calling on government institutions, public agencies, private-sector organisations and other partners to support efforts to connect graduates, National Service personnel and other job seekers with employment opportunities.
The company is also encouraging organisations and individuals to contribute through training, mentorship, sponsored opportunities and investment in the professional development of young people.
Ghanaians living abroad are being urged to support the initiative by mentoring young people, hiring Ghanaian talent, investing in opportunities back home and sharing information about the platform with family and friends. The media and the general public are also being encouraged to help raise awareness ahead of the launch.
Anthony Akwasi Gyamfi, PharmD, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of G&T Prestige Ltd., said the initiative reflects his desire to return home with knowledge and opportunities that can help others succeed.
“Sankofa means go back and get it. I went far, I learned, and now I have come back to bring it home. If a young man with one book bag and no dollar could cross the bridge, so can you. And this time, you will not cross alone,” he stated.
G&T Prestige Ltd. was registered in Ghana in October 2025 and is headquartered in Abuakwa, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region. Dr. Gyamfi is a pharmacist and pharmacy manager based in Manhattan, New York.
Sankofa Job is one of the company’s flagship initiatives. Other planned projects include Adwuma Pa Podcast, which is expected to follow, and Ankoaa, planned for 2027.
