President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today, December 5, 2024, inaugurate multiple hospitals under the government’s flagship Agenda 111 initiative, a transformative program aimed at expanding healthcare infrastructure nationwide.

“We have a complete 100-bed hospital with an accident and emergency centre, neonatal and pediatric units, a maternity home, a kitchen, a mortuary, OPD, a pharmacy, an X-ray, and a laboratory,” Dr. Nsiah-Asare explained. “It is a complete hospital. We also have an eye department, dental department, ENT department, consulting rooms, and public health units all within the hospital.”
The Agenda 111 initiative is a central component of President Akufo-Addo’s vision for healthcare reform, which aims to reduce overcrowding at existing hospitals, improve health outcomes, and bring essential services closer to people’s doorsteps.
