Eventree Communications, in partnership with Ena-pa Sintex Tank, De-Luxy, Hylife Beverages, Heavens, and DPS Pipes Ghana, has extended a generous Ramadan gesture to the Ghana Police Mosque at Cantonments on Friday, April 4, 2025. The team donated shawarma, drinks, and water to support Muslim worshippers after Jummah prayers.
The initiative forms part of Eventree Communication’s broader socio-cultural commitment to giving back to the community. Hewale, the Public Relations Officer of Eventree Communications, explained the rationale behind the donation, highlighting the organization’s corporate social responsibility.
“We chose to provide food and drinks to the Muslim community as a way of showing solidarity and support during the holy month of Ramadan,” Hewale said in an interview. “The experience was a blessing. We feel very great and excited about putting smiles on the faces of people.”
According to Hewale, this isn’t a one-time initiative. “We plan to make this an annual tradition and expand it to cover other locations, including five mosques. We also intend to visit children’s wards and provide support,” he added.
The gesture was warmly received by Imam Abass Umar Abdul-Karim, Deputy Imam of the Ghana Police Mosque, who commended Eventree Communication and its sponsors for their thoughtful support.
“This is a positive example of corporate social responsibility, especially during significant religious periods,” the Imam noted. “Our mosque feeds about 700 people a day, so this donation was timely and deeply appreciated.”
Some beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to Eventree Communication and their partners, praying for divine blessings and the fulfillment of their wishes.
The event not only provided nourishment but also served as a moment of unity, compassion, and shared joy during the sacred month of Ramadan.
